Autorickshaw smashed in Khulna, driver killed
An autorickshaw driver was killed in a collision with a private car at Fultala in Khulna; Five passengers and one pedestrian were injured in the incident.

The deceased was identified as Abu Taher Sheikh, 50, son of Abu Saeed of Khajadanga village in Rupsha upazila.
The injured were identified as Iqbal Hossain, 50, his wife Sabina, 35, their two-month-old child, Sufia Begum, 60, wife of Munshur Ali of Payra village in Abhaynagar, Rabiul, 45, son of Golam Rasul of Rajghat village and Ayesha Khatun, daughter of Duldul of Raripara village. (2).
OC Mahatab Uddin said a battery-powered autorickshaw was carrying passengers from Fultala to Nawapara at noon. On the way, on reaching Khulna-Jessore highway at Bejerdanga, a Khulna-bound private car collided head-on.
"The autorickshaw was smashed and the driver of the vehicle Abu Taher was seriously injured. After taking him to Khulna Medical College Hospital, the doctor declared him dead. ”
The injured have been admitted to Khulna Medical College Hospital and Fultala Upazila Health Complex.
Private cars and autorickshaws involved in the accident have been seized.
