Wishing the people of the country a happy Eid, he said, "Everyone must move forward with courage and morale in the ongoing coronavirus crisis. Corona does not spare anyone. So let us unite to overcome this crisis irrespective of party affiliation and exercise utmost caution."
Obaidul Quader called for prevention of coronavirus, the common enemy of all, through observance of hygiene rules.
However, he expressed concern over the situation of villagers returning home after the desperate Eid procession.
"Ignoring the advice of health experts and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina may cost a fortune. Public gatherings must be avoided and hygiene rules and masks must be read."
The Minister for Road Transport and Bridges called upon the people to observe Eid in accordance with the rules of health and wished healing and good health to the victims of coronavirus, uninterrupted peace, progress and prosperity of all.
He heartily congratulated the Coronavirus frontline fighters during this difficult time of the epidemic. He said that he has done the service keeping the family members away, sincere congratulations to all the sacrificial fighters and Eid Mubarak.
He said, "When the light of the depths of the mind shines, I remove the darkness of Amanisha and awaken myself, the society, the country in the innate Bengali consciousness of compassion. This Eid, not the last Eid, let's wait for the next morning, the colorful Eid."
Hoping that this crisis will be resolved like the previous ones, the General Secretary of Awami League said, "Bangladesh will overcome the crisis and light the golden lamp of hope in the past under the leadership of Desaratna Sheikh Hasina.
"Inshallah, under the brave and humane leadership of Sheikh Hasina, we will cross the sea of crisis and reach the shore like in the past."
