Attack on Labor League leader in Naogaon
A leader of Naogaon's Atrai Upazila was stabbed by miscreants with a sharp weapon.

Injured Sardar Shoaib Hossain (45) is the general secretary of Atrai Upazila Sramik League and a contract businessman. He is the son of Khanja Master of Sahebganj village in Upazila Sadar.

Atrai Police Station OC Abul Kalam Azad said Sardar Shoaib was working in his contracting office at Upazila New Market. At around 12:30 pm, some miscreants attacked him, cut his limbs and left him there.
The people of the market rescued him and brought him to the Upazila Health Complex. He said he was admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital around 3 pm after receiving first aid there.
The OC said, "Preparations are being made to take Seib Hossain to Dhaka at night as the situation has not improved."
The incident spread tension in the area.
The OC said police have been deployed at the upazila headquarters. Currently the situation is calm. CC TV footage of the market is being monitored.
"Efforts are on to arrest those involved in the Sardar Sohaib incident who were injured in the hospital," he said.
Shoaib Hossain's wife is preparing to file a case at the police station at night.
